A family favorite restaurant.
Very reasonably priced, tasty and well prepared Vietnamese food. We like it a lot.

Decent food..
We went here for dinner while visiting Buffalo. We were promptly seated even we went there with no reservation on Friday night. The atmosphere was decent. Staff were nice. The appetizer was ok, not great but not bad. My entree, green curry with chicken, was good but definitely had better. My husband liked his squid dish much better than I liked mine.
Also I thought this place was Vietnamese/Thai food. However, I didn't see any pho (Vietnamese noodle soup) on the menu.
Since we will be relocating to the area soon, we will probably try the restaurant again. May be I will ask for extra spicy.

This place is the best kept secret for a thai lunch . . . $5.95 for an entree and spring roll or soup. The food is wonderful, the portions (especially lunch portions) satisfying, and the atmosphere is warm and sophisticated. I would highly recommend if you haven't tried.

Vietnamese and Thai on Elmwood.
Saigon Cafe is owned by the same people of Saigon Bangkok on Niagra Falls Boulevard. The food is delicious, but is sometimes inconsistent and overpriced for what you get. It is a small restaurant, so it always seems busy. If you have to wait, give them your cell phone number and go next door to Coles for a drink (last I heard, Saigon Cafe has no liquor license..."YET.") Overall, this place is overrated.
