I have been bringing my sweet dog, Lily, to Canine Capers for over three years now. She absolutely LOVES it! When we arrive, she jumps out of the car and runs to the door! She just can't wait to get into the play area and see all of her friends! The owner, Laura, has always been very kind to us, as have all of the employees that we interact with there. Everyone is so friendly, and you can really see how much they love all of the dogs who attend daycare! Laura knows all of her clients by name, and goes out of her way to make each one feel important.

I recently adopted a disabled dog with some serious issues. She had never been socialized and was terrified of other dogs. Laura has been kind enough to let me bring her to Canine Capers, and stand in the small dog play area with her for 30-45 minutes each time I come. This has helped her immensely!! Over the course of a few months, this poor dog has made incredible progress, and is no longer afraid of other dogs. This progress wouldn't have ever been possible without Laura's kindness and incredible generosity. We are so grateful! Also, we had been looking for a space to do a fundraiser to help raise money to cover the high medical costs of this poor disabled dog, and Laura offered to let us use Canine Capers for the fundraiser! We have been continually blown away by her kindness.

The groomer, Lindsay, does an excellent job, too! She has groomed both of my dogs, and they looked fantastic! I have gotten to observe her grooming skills from being at the daycare with my disabled dog, and I have noticed that she has a very kind, gentle, and calming way when she's grooming them. It's easy to see how much she truly loves dogs!

I would recommend Canine Capers Dog Daycare to anyone who is looking for a wonderful place to take their dog to socialize and exercise. It's a fabulous facility, run by loving, caring people - you can't go wrong!

I took my Lab Murphy to Canine Capers to take part in many of their services. He thrived in the puppy training classes and has a blast every week in their daycare program. He comes home tired out and happy and is always excited to go back. It is great to have a facility where you can have all your needs cared for and the staff is friendly and very helpful. Murphy even enjoys his monthly grooming there and smells so nice when he comes home. I can see the love the owner has for dogs by the way she treats Murphy everytime he comes and how she talks about her many dogs she owns. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great loving facility to care for their dog.

Feels like family! I started bringing Hazel to Canine Capers on a recommendation from a friend and I'm so glad they suggested it. The first time I brought Hazel, Laura (the owner) was so welcoming and made me feel extremely comfortable leaving my "baby" in her care. All of the workers are so kind and each time I walk in, they make me feel like my pup is one of their own. I'm so pleased with the level of care and quality at Canine Capers that my mom brings her dog there for grooming and he's never looked cuter!

I also love that pictures are posted on Facebook each day so I get to see what she does all day with her friends.

Thank you so much, Laura and your staff, for being Hazel's home away from home!

I am a new dog owner and my puppy Nora has been to Canine Capers both for grooming and for daycare. I couldn't be more pleased with the staff, facility, and care she receives there. Nora of course, couldn't be happier when she gets to go and romp around and play with her canine buddies for the day. She comes home thoroughly entertained, and exhausted! Thank you to Laura and her staff for taking great care with my puppy, and for having a place I can trust her to go to when I can't be there.

Hi, I'm Abel! When my humans say "doggie day care" my ears perk up and I start doing a little dance of excitement and anticipation! I loooove my days at Canine Capers! I practically pull my humans' arms off running to the door when they let me out in the parking lot. I have so many doggie friends (I'm very popular there) and we play so much that I'm exhausted at the end of the day. Everyone who works at Canine Capers obviously loves my species and takes good care of us. We have lots of fun things to play with--personally my favorite is the swimming pool on a hot day. But bubbles are fun too! My humans can even leave me overnight with the owner Laura who takes me home and I get to play with my friends there. Canine Capers is the best!!!

The Best Time Ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. My Aussie Sasha and my GSD Bruno went to Canine Capers for 2 years before we moved to Virginia. It was their favorite place to be for sure. They were unbearable to control the minute I turned onto Route 20. They knew where they were going and they were so excited. It brought me much joy to see how caring the staff always was with them. They treated them wonderfully and the dogs loved them all. They took time with them to teach them things and show them affection and they STILL get excited if I say "want to go to daycare?" They will never forget them, nor will I. I am still looking for a comparable place here in Virginia Beach but I fear Canine Capers is a ' one of a kind ' and I am grateful that I had the chance to bring my dogs there and allow them to have such a good time!!

Socilaization, Exercise, Fun!. Our 8 year old mixed breed has been going to Canine Capers since he was a 5 month old puppy and he has always loved it there! He gets so excited when we're about a mile from the place and runs right in, ready to go. He's got some special friends that he loves to pal around with. Best of all at the end of the day he's good and tired and the affect lasts! We've never been able to duplicate that kind of tired on our own.

He doesn't always come when he's called but he ALWAYS comes when we call "Canine Capers!"

We LOVE Canine Capers !!!. The absolute highlight of 2011 was an introduction to Canine Capers Dog Daycare !!!! It is a resort for dogs... offering a stimulating, cage-free environment featuring separate indoor areas for small and larger dogs, plus several large outdoor play areas. The incredible staff provides a safe and fun atmosphere. They continually reinforce good dog habits. Laura and Kalyn maintain organized, controlled and monitored areas where a group of friendly dogs may interact and play. The result is stimulation, exercise, and socialization . Dogs return home satisfied, fulfilled, tired and happy. We can't get enough of the place and when we aren't there we miss our friends with names like Atticus ..... Hazel .... Tavia .... Lucille .... etc.... Canine Capers most certainly enhances the quality of my pet's life !!!!!

Bella's Second Home. Canine Capers was a gift when we found it and has been Bella's second home ever since! Bella has been going here 3 to 4 days a week for over 4 years. On daycare days she barks at me to let me know she wants to go and pulls me out the door every time! This place has helped Bella to expend her incessant energy somewhere other than at home where she use to drive me a little crazy. I don't know what I would do without Canine Capers, Laura, and all the employees. They make it a second home for Bella and I know and trust that she is happy and safe at her second home.

Love, love, love Canine Capers!. We've been customers of Canine Capers for 2 years now, and Laura and everyone there are like family to us.....and I don't know what we'd do without them!

We started with a 12 week old crazy puppy who had more energy than he knew what to do with. He got days filled with fun, play, socialization, and did I say fun? Charlie instantly loved going to Canine Capers, and 2 years later, still drags us in the front door because we aren't moving fast enough! I especially love that I can drop him off in the morning and not have to worry about him until I pick him up in the evening...he's having fun, he's being cared for as if he were their own, and he's getting all that crazy energy out. Two years later, we have a well socialized, happy, goofy Weimaraner.....and would be lost without Canine Capers!
