hmmmmmm. Well....The food was great as was the service and I was enjoying my meal UNTIL I SAW A RAT RUN THROUGH THE DINING ROOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't say that I will ever be back- yuck!

Best meal I,ve had in years. Any time there,s monkfish on the menu I try it. Bacchus ha dit last week and I have never had it done so well.Stuffed and tender , flavor was incredible.The sauce and sides were terrific . Had a scallop app and they were perfectly done Cannot recall ever enjoying a meal as much. Nice that you may order small plates if you're not ravenous. Partners steak was done perfectly and seasoned to perfection.. Will return as often as possible....

Great atmosphere and service. Wine and bar menu was very nice.. We really enjoyed our visit to Bacchus and will be returning with friends this weekend. We live about 1 1/2 hours from Buffalo but think nothing of coming up for an evening at Bacchus. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone that enjoys good wine, good food, and good company.

Great Buffalo Restaurant. If you want some high cuisine in Buffalo, try Bacchus. Their food is out of this world. Be prepared to drop a decent chunk of change when going here. I got a free "small" plate which acted like an appetizer using a promo coupon from foupons. The service is first rate with your water never dipping below 3/4 full. I love seeing Buffalo businesses do well so please support this diamond in the rough.

Best Restaurant in the City. Looking for something sophisticated, yet unpretentious, myself and a group of friends decided upon Bacchus Wine Bar and Restaurant on the Chippewa Strip. Perfect for people watching on a Friday night, we were pleasantly seated in the front window. We decided to share a number of small plates including a delicious Fried Brie, Pan Seared Jumbo Scallops in a Thai Sauce and Pan Roasted Blue Crab Cakes, among a number of other equally fantastic selections. Our server, very helpful and educated, suggested several wines. We selected a medium bodied Arneis which was very reasonably priced at under $30. Our meal was impeccable, service - outstanding, company - perfect and overall our night was one to remember for a long time to come. If you are looking for an incredible evening... special occasion or not, the only place to be is Bacchus.
