USED TO BE my favorite restaurant. Tantalus used to be my favorite and my husband and I would go there any chance we got. The menu was extensive and outstanding. Over time though we noticed the service majorly decline. The second last time we were there was a busy Friday night. There were four of us to be seated. The hostess took our names. Others were sat before us two times. We had to remind her we were still there. I asked if there was call ahead and she informaed me there was not. So she either she forgot about us or it pays to know someone. Service was slow but it was busy. I didn't think too much of it. The waitress could have been a little more attentive considering. We ordered the baked brie. Over time the quality of the dish has declined. The portion had become very small relative to years past. My husband orders the insider burger which used to be amazing and full of all sorts of good stuff. This past time it was so flimsy and nothing was really even inside the burger.

The last time we went was a Sunday. We had our children and they were probably at 30% capacity. We sat for over 20 minutes with our menus. Not one person came over to greet or acknowledge us or at least take our beverage order. The owner was there. Most of the staff was huddled talking in back. We left. Two strikes. My husband and I will never go back again.

Wonderful. There menu is so wide it is hard to get through. Thursday is Mexican night which is just phenominal. Most of their food is home made and not processed. The curry soup is teriffic. The service is amazing. The wait staff is so attentive. Their food is very reasonably priced as well. We had dinner for three including wine for under $50.00 Go early especially on Friday and Saturday because it is always packed.

Buffalo's Best New Northern Italian Resaurant. The owners have an amazingly profound knowlege of Northern Italian cuisine and some incredible vegetarian fruit platters. Check out the

Chinese Dragon Salad or the Spaghetti Carbonara. This is truly a family style restaurant that has sprouted in a desert of bad restaurants.
