Tips for Vino's Italian Restaurant

October 16, 2012

Sorry Freddgarvin doesn't like. Sounds angry doesn't he? Full disclosure: I have no financial or personal interest in this restaurant.

My wife and I love this place. Food is delicious an just like home made. Cozy. Romantic and intimate. Dark, so I agree with the low lighting comment. Hand crafted selections of authentic italian dishes, which probably explains why they run out of items. I was looking up the restaurant to make a reservation and thought I would place a review. It's delicious.

Would have liked to see the menu on the internet. C'mon Vino's get a website up, it's 2012 all ready!!

Wonderful place. My husband and I love this place. The food is great, like homemade. We go there almost once a week. Prices are great too and the owners are very friendly. It reminds me of "Cheers" they know almost everyone by name. The menu is limited but there is something for everyone's taste and all delicious.

Home made without the guilt of not doing dishes. My wife and I have eaten here about eight times. The food is always excellent and the service is personable.

My mother-in-law grew up in Italy and is an excellent cook she can spend half a day just making meatballs. They (meatballs) take many hours to do right. The meatballs at Vino's have a texture and flavor that is excellent. The sauces are bright and fresh.

I tend to like places that have a more diverse menu but I really appreciate going someplace where you can order anything on the menu and it will be outstanding.

If you are looking for a simple place with outstanding food at a very reasonable price, this is the place to go. This is one of my favorite restaurants in and around Buffalo.

Terrible place!. We went here last Saturday as a reservation and I will not recommend or ever eat there again. 1st thing there menu is extremely limited and they seemed to be out of a lot of menu items. You have a limited menu and your taking reservations you shouldn't run out of anything. Anyhow besides that when we got to order someone at are party asked for an extra meatball our waitress scoffed like it was a big deal clearly made it a point that the chef makes them homemade in the morning and she would have to ask. WTF? Your an Italian restaurant you shouldn't ever run out meatballs. Especailly when you have 12 menu itimes. The food was ok but not even close to other places for itiakin (santaserios, Markos, ect.) And ridicoulsy overpriced as well. Also the Chef - owner came out and talked and thanked a party next to us and walked by without even addressing us at all. I felt bad because one in our group talked it up so much and even try to get his attention to say hi and he completly ignored us. Understandable when busy but we felt shunned.

This was a very disappointing experience and would highly avoid anyone else wasting money at this establishment. The owners are clearly not restaurant people. And should stick to selling used cars.

Vino' Italian Restaurant. This place has got to be one of the best kept secrets in Buffalo. A small quaint place with some of the BEST Italian dishes I have ever had. The service is personal and the atmosphere is amazing. And all this for VERY reasonable cost.

Delicious!!!!. After reading several poor reviews I was skeptical to go when my friend asked. She had been there several times and loves the food. The atmosphere is very romantic, if youre older or have poor vision you might find it hard to read the menu because the lights were very dim but I loved this feeling! I ordered pasta with a meatball which was only $10 and came with a salad and very delicious fresh made bread. The sauce was soooo good and it was seriously the best, most melt-in-your-mouth meatball ive ever had! My friend had the pasta pomadoro which was equally as yummy! I plan to order that the next time that I go. It tasted like fresh, warm, bruchetta over pasta- soo good! For three meals, including salads, an appetizer and 5 glasses of wine it was less than $80!!!! The owner was behind the bar serving wine and desserts (which were made my herself that morning and from the sounds of it were very good). She greeted everyone when they walked in and also thanked each custom when they left. Very cute, romantic yumyy restaurant!!!

Pathetic. It's pathetic to see the restautanteur write their own review to under an assumed name counter a bad one.
