Fantastic Fresh Friday Fish Fry. We just had a wonderful dinner at Abbott Texas Hots on Abbott Road in Lackawanna, New York. The server was very prompt, thorough, and attentive. We ordered the Friday Special Fish Fry ( under $7). The breaded fresh piece of fish touched both ends of the twelve inch dinner plate. The rest of the plate was piled with fresh homemade (from scratch) potato salad, homemade macaroni salad, and homemade cole slaw. The plate was garnished with a slice of fresh lemon, and a small cup of homemade tarter sauce. The dinner included buttered rye bread. If you are in or near Lackawanna or South Buffalo on a Friday, you should make Abbott Texas Hots your choice for a Friday Fish Fry. Next time we want to try the Greek Fish Fry.
