Supurb dining experience.. This past week was me and my boyfriends 4 year anniversary, and we wanted somewhere to special to go celebrate, I suggested The Melting Pot. I made reservations for tonight early this afternoon, and had no problem getting in. When we arrived we were greeted right away by the hostess with a friendly hello. We were seated right away in a nice quiet corner booth in the back area of the restaurant, which I over heard another server say they called "Lovers lane". It was very quiet and romantic. Our server gave us the best service I have ever had the pleasure to experience in any restaurant by far. I was very pleased with the pace of all 4 courses ordered. Our server, Julie, was on top of everything. She greeted us promptly and took our drink order. When she returned she offered to go over the menu and the processes for me and my boyfriend. We politely declined, as we had a fair recollection of how things went from our last visit. She took our order, and quickly returned to prepare our cheese fondue. A little while into our fondue she brought our salads out to us. My boyfriend absolutely loved his ceasar salad, especially the pine nuts. I also enjoyed my California salad, the dressing was absolutely delicious and all the flavours complimented each other perfectly. By the time we were almost done with our salads my drink was just about empty. No sooner did our server appear around the corner with a refill in hand, and she continued to be right on top of refills for both me and my boyfriend without having to be asked throughout the meal experience. After we finished our salads and cheese fondue, Julie came and cleared away the table to prepare for our meals. Our oil came out, and she began to heat it up, and quickly returned with our plates of meat. We began to enjoy our meals when an on duty manager stopped over to see how our evening was going. I believe his name was Chris. We told him everything was excellent thus far. Soon after Julie returned to our table to check on us, and offered to refill our vegetables. We finished our meals and she was right there with a desert menu for us to look at. We finished our dining experience with a white chocolate fondue, which was the perfect conclusion to our meals. At the end of this experience we were very satisfied guests, so much so that we even went out of our way to speak to the manager again to let him know how wonderful our server was. So if your ever at The Melting Pot located in the Galleria Mall, ask for Julie. You won't regret it. :)

Great food and fun and different!!. Every time I have been to The Melting Pot the service has been top notch, anytime we bring someone for their first visit, the mngr on duty or kitchen lead comes out and greets them and takes the time to see how they are enjoying their experience. I personally find that to be a very nice touch. Food is ALWAYS fresh and YUMMY!! Love it!!

Terrible food, terrible service. Service too forever even though no one was there. To 20 minutes just to get drinks. Server was rude and inappropriate. Fondue was cold Restaurant was dirty and rundown
