Tips for Kennedy's Cove

Food is very expensive. I always thought 'Black and Blue' on Sheridan was expensive but this small place, with horrible parking and congested sitting space, is about 50% higher than 'Black and Blue'. The entrees are as high as $42. The waiters arrogant. Food is not bad but not great either, definitely not worth all the issues mentioned above. Will never go there again.

High Prices. My companion and I have enjoyed kennedy's cove for many years. The food is wonderful. However I feel the price has gotten way out of hand. When we first started going there the meal we had was 12.50 per person . Today that same meal is 31.00. The cost of drinks is crazy. I understan inflation, however, this is ridiculous.

Editorial Review. Hearty steaks, friendly staff members and the casual atmosphere attract locals to this no frills American restaurant.

Wonderful Steak. Kennedy;s Cove has the best steak and Clams Casino that I have ever had. I would recommend this place to anyone. You have to get there early however so that you can get a table, but it is well worth the wait!

Amazing. I have to say that Kennedys has awesome steaks! I have had consultants that love steak, tell me that it is the best steak they have ever had. I have also done a fair amount of traveling and have gone to places people have recommended all over the country and I have still not found a better steak. I am not to sure about the complaints on food other then steak, steak is the reason you go to a steak place. As far as cost I can be pricey but I feel that it is worth it, I have paid more for worse steaks. I have moved in the last few years and when I come back to the Buffalo area, Kennedys is always on the to do list.

Not worth it!. I used to go to Kennedy's for a great meal at reasonable prices. Now, diiner for two, in what is nothing more than a corner bar, is way to expensive for what you get. Let's start: drinks- overpriced, salad- poor, shrip cocktail- $7 for three or four shrip, steaks- way overpriced for what you get. Diiner for two w/ 1 drink a peice, $70.00. Before the new owners took over that same meal with more drinks $45.00. And the food was better!

Great Find.... Kennedy's Cove is a hole in the wall kind of restaurant with great food. Very casual atmosphere. Huge portions for a good price. Always crowded, so go early or later. Bring cash because they do not accept credit cards.

Fantastic steaks. Kennedy's Cove, by far, has the best steaks that the Buffalo area has to offer. It is a small, affordable restaurant that offers fantastic foods. I have tried steak at Scotch 'n Sirloin and at the Outback Steakhouse and believe me when I say that they pale in comparison to Kennedy's Cove.

steak through the heart. After much coaxing by close friends, wife & I visited restaurant on a mid-summer evening with 2 other couples. The best part of the dining experience was that the steaks were cooked perfectly to order, as far as degree of doneness. The seasoning theme was cajun-blackened. Different entree choices were made at our table;steaks and tuna. All were seasoned similarly. While the beef stood up to the cajun, the tuna didi not. We all thought the price was in excess of even a 'fine-dining' restaurant with finer amenities, considerring portion size and presentation.

Also, when we saw 'sushi-grade' tuna steaks on the menu, we asked for an uncooked portion to consume tableside as sashimi. Our request was declined!

Taste Buds Watch Out!. Considering steak was all my father would request for dinner when I was younger, I've had my fair share of steaks from picnics to restaurants. I have to admit Kennedy's Cove has the best-tasting filet in town! Try it blackened--it's primo!!!
