Great service/good food.
I was in town visiting family for St Patrick's Day week and stopped into this place that I used to frequent before I moved. The only downside was to hear that John the bartender was no longer working there, but Becky (our waitress) more than made up for the loss with her pleasant, knowledgeable and cheerful service that made the experience a real pleasure for my wife and I.
We enjoyed the Irish fare that was being offered during Paddy's Day week. I had the Bangers and Mash and my wife had the boiled ham and cabbage dinner. All I can say is that if both of these items would be a constant on the French Pub menu, I not only think I'd move a lot closer to home, but I guarantee that this place would be even busier than they are now.
Fantastic Irish food that they served and I've had the wings before too, which were very good too. It's nice to see a great little business like this thriving in the neighborhood, but I beg the management to add the Irish food back to the menu, even if only one or two offerings a week - it's a gold mine waiting to explode!!!
The neighborhood should continue to support this great little place. Great beers on tap, always offering something different to drink, daily specials on lunch and dinner meals and always a pleasant experience.
Well worth the trip! Thanks for the enjoyable experience.
great value.
been going there for years. like a magnet, we keep going back because of the great food, prices, and John and Cory the bartenders. Because it is always busy should be an indication of what I am saying.
This is Susan Chella again. I need to carify my review. STAY away from a waitress named MO. We have nicknamed her SLOW MO for a reason, If she has more than one table, it will be while before you see her.
This is our seond encounter with her and each time was forgetable. Kenny, she is not a waitress and she is ruining a good business. With the financial situation, we cannot afford to go out and have it ruined by an incompetent waitress. You may see again but if she is working, we are OUT OF THERE. By the way, John and Corey are still great bartenders. Good thing you still have them.
French Pub is great dining option.. The French Pub continues to offer cheap, diverse specials and a very reasonable menu. The servers are friendly, and the food is good. Come early on weekends, the wait can get long for this local gem!!
Excellent food and great service. Food is top notch. They have a great variety of meals on their menu. Excellent homemade desserts and gigantic portions all at super reasonable prices make this restaurant stand above the rest. The staff is always first class, with fast service and a great sense of humor. The patio addition to the restaurant and added parking makes for shorter waits on busy nights. However, even if the restaurant is busy it is definitely worth the wait.
a favorite stop. we live close by and with the excellent food, great portions and cheap prices, we go there often - Friday nights get to be too busy but that should tell you something about the place - with the outdoor patio it can seat people more quickly - definitely worth a visit - Meagan is our favorite waitress - the owner, Big Kenny, is there often making sure the restaurant is running smoothly -
great eating. this resaraunt has very freindly bar staff and servers. the food is of good quality and very well priced. They have expanded their parking area by buying the building next store and knocking it down.
over winged. Stopped here once with a friend who lives nearby. Had a short wait at the bar before a table was ready. My wife and her friend enjoyed their food and I had a large order of wings that I couldn't finish. Took them home of course and had them for breakfast the next day. Very nice place, very cozy and I would go back there anytime to sample the rest of their menu.
