Not warm and fuzzy.... ..but reasonably priced. They certainly don't do unecessary tests. I was disappointed once to see a girl waiting to have her cat put down. No one should have to wait for that. I'm quite certain others waiting wouldn't object to letting them go ahead. I would rather not be in the waiting room while someone is in tears. Brett isn't a bad guy - just a little on the cold side.…
Avoid the son.
if i could give less and a star i would. The older Dr. Tillou is a wonderful vet with tremendous bedside manner and actually cares about his job. His son however, is a well-endowed, entitled,
self-righteous, jerk. I brought my parents dog there (having gone there for about 3 dogs and 25 years now) and he told me that "next time i should bring someone of responsibility." I'm 25 years old, and have been going there for as long as i can remember. If guy's son keeps this pace of indignation he will be out of business in a few years. Very sad really since Guy was such a wonderful person.
Oh and he wasn't just rude to me and my wife, he was rude to his assistants as well. Manhandled my 13 year old golden... Really nice.…
Avoid the younger vet. The older Dr. Tillou is a nice man, very good as a vet. His son however is absolutely awful. I took our 18 year old dog in for advice and the younger Tillou had no bedside manner. He told me she had to be put to sleep. Given that I am disabled and on social security, I asked for the payments to be split between two ss checks. He said no; payment before procedure. So, wrote a check and it bounced. Now, I have been going to the elder Tillou for a couple of years without a history of nonpayment or bounced checks. I called and brought in half the payment. I was told that they would not release our dog's ashes until payment was made in full. We spent our first Thanksgiving in 18 years without her. A couple of days after I made the payment, the younger doctor called our home just to harass us. He told us we didn't deserve to have a dog or have her cremated. He said if we didn't show up the day I got my social security he'd dump her ashes. My wife was hysterical. He was heartless and cruel. A friend loaned us the rest of the money and I went in and asked for all our dogs records and her ashes. They were in a tin box. He stood there and stared at me and then turned and walked out of the area. And just to reinforce the heartlessness, we never received any kind of sympathy card from the practice. It was a horrible, horrible experience.…
