Server was poor never checked to see about another drink..not sure of them but we had gotten 1 slice of rye bread cut in half since both were eaten she didn't ask if we wanted anymore (more bad service). Husband had the Cajun fish ws just ok..I had the battered..our food came the frys were cold like they we just under a warm lamp made ahead of time..also my batter fish was horrible..it tasted like they had not changed the grease in the fryer on a long time..you know the taste I mean..I have no desire to every go back...sad it use to be such a nice place to eat…
Awful service - Food Mediocre.
Never again. We ordered an appetizer, soup and our entree which included a baked potato. The appetizer was served in a pretty timely manner followed by the soup which was tasty but lukewarm. Then,
we waited, waited and waited for the entree. Our visit was during Restaurant Week and the place was severly understaffed. Our waitress finally came back over, apologized for the delay and stated she would "comp" a dessert. When the entree did come, the baked potato was cold and undercooked. We brought it to the waitress' attention; she was going to take the entire entree but we convinced her to only take the potatoes. Well, we did finish our entree with no sign of a cooked potato.
We asked to talk to a "manager" and I believe it was the owner who finally came to our table. Apologized and told us they were very busy tonight and that it wasn't ther waitress' fault. Our entire meal was complimentary but we still will never return to the West End Inn.…
Good food, friendly service. Have been to the West End several times and have experienced most of the menu. The wraps and sandwiches are delicious. I am a big fan of the pub food/sandwiches there. Entrees are also good. Bartenders & waitresses were attentive & friendly. Will continue to be a patron there.…
bar & food. About a week ago I went to the bar with a few buddies. Overall I"d say that we had a good time. We ordered some "Pub Grub" and watched the Sabres game. Although I was disappointed that the Sabres lost, I was not disappointed with the food or service.…
Family place. I brought my family here for dinner. The menu was great and there was so much to choose from! It was reasonably priced and I was more than happy. The building was interesting and since it was built in the late 1800's the place has some great history.…
