Wonderful small town store!.
I love shopping at Peterson's! They have great gifts at reasonable prices (despite what some of the other reviews say, the prices really are good for the quality and uniqueness). For the Vera
Bradley lovers, Peterson's has one of the largest selections in the area!
Local residents shouldn't take Peterson's for granted. Not many small towns have quality gift shops these days. Personally, I am willing to pay a little extra to avoid a trip to the mall!
As for the pharmacy, some people need to be a bit more patient. As a former employee in a similar business, I know that there are many liabilities that fall on a pharmacist. The questions are to ensure your safety and maintain the pharmacist's professional integrity. Everyone makes mistakes, even doctors, and it's up to your pharmicist to catch these mistakes if they occur. There are also an awful lot of people out there who abuse prescription medications (more than most people would think), and a pharmacist has an obligation to try their best to minimize this.
From what I can see, Peterson's is a well-run local business. Customer service is clearly a priority, and that is something that you don't see much anymore. If you haven't shopped at Peterson's, you should stop in!…
great place. I don't get the other reviews. The people at Peterson's are really nice and the gift department is amazing. I highly recommend it.
It is on at Peterson's. For the Love of Pete! What else can I say about this gem of a store in the heart of Newfane? It's a stalwart of the local Newfane economy, and I've been shopping there for years. All you complainers out there betta recognize just how bad things are in other parts of the country. In Baltimore, for example, you take your life in your hands going into most convenience stores. In Peterson's, you can shop with no worries about anyone bothering you. All I can say, yo, is GO PETERSON'S AND GO NEWFANE! IT IS ON, YO!…
Petersons drug store Newfane NY. I had an experience where I had a dislocated shoulder. I am very sensitive to pain killers and my doctor had perscribed me 10 pills to two different types to see which one my stomach would tolerate. Once I gave the prescriptions to the male pharmacist, I was questioned over and over again in front 3 other customers regarding the reason I needed two pain killers. I explained to him my sensitivity to drugs but he continued to treat me like some drug abusing lunatic. He refused to fill either prescription until he could speak to my doctor. I gave him the number and my doctor confirmed and he still refused to fill the prescriptions. I took my prescriptions down the road to rite aid and was able to get them filled within an hour. Thank god. I had surgery the next day and really needed something for the pain. I've never been treated like that before in my LIFE. Ive never been back since.…
Horrible management and costumer service. Avoid at any cost.. There are many problems with this company, mainly stemming from poor management. My first time entering this store, I was followed by a somewhat large woman who was constantly monitoring what I was doing. Afterwards, I discovered she thought I was trying to steal from the store. Also, I noticed that the employees were being constantly harassed by higher management, which seemed to be a daily occurance. On further inspection of the store, I noticed that a lot of items were misplaced, either purposely away from similar objects or for price issues, but there wasn't a lot of organization to anything. This also held true for the gift section of the store; I noticed a pile of beanie animals in the middle of the floor, and it was somewhat hard to walk around. I would say that their products are very poor quality, as well as being highly overpriced. As for the pharmacy, the only problem I see is the male pharmacist. I am not sexist, but he seemed to talk to his coworkers more than actually doing his work. I would suggest, if you have the opportunity, to drive the extra distance to Lockport instead of having to deal with this company.…
