Tips for Calling Cards Unlimited

April 25, 2013

Rude, Rude, and more Rude! At the advice of a friend, I stopped in to inquire about high quality envelopes and wedding invitations. The older women who waited on me was very unhelpful and rude. When I asked about sizes and quality she told me she didn't know! Hello, isn't this your business?? She obviously didn't want to be bothered, so like all the other negative reviewers, I went somewhere else and was treated with respect and gave them my business! No business seems to make it in that plaza, and I hope this one follows the pattern!

Very Pleasant Experiance!!. I went to calling cards unlimited today for wedding inviations. I have read these reviews and I was very skeptical about going in there. I am happy to say, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that both of the women that helped me were sweet, kind and very helpful. I am happy with the customer service that I received today. So my advice for any of you out there needing the type of services that they offer, Don't let these bad reviews scare you away. Go in and see for yourself that these reviews don't seem to be an acurate representation of how these ladies really are.

THE WORST!. I agree with the above! I went with my sister and the staff is very rude and act like they dont care. We then went to the Wedding Agent in Kenmore and we coudnt believe how professional and informative they were!

Bad experience. Worst service I've ever experienced. Make it seem as if they don't care if you order from them or not. Staff is very unfriendly. Use my bad experience as a lesson....

Don't waste your time.. i will never go back here again. the staff is extremely rude and unprofessional and the management/owner didnt seem to care. she just made things worse. there are enough places in Buffalo to get wedding invitations and the like done, so there is absolutely no reason to put up with that. go somewhere else!

Terrible service. We are having a very large and expensive wedding so a LOT of money would be spent on invitations. They were terribly rude to me and my finance walked out. Too bad for them. I will just have to look at other paperies. There is no way they would get my business after how rude the one woman was. No thank you! Their loss! And we were prepared to spend a ton of money.

Overpriced. Rhonda helped my fiancee and I went we first came in. She did help us find something in our price range but we ended up spending way more than what we were told. I didn't have any idea on how much invitations cost so we ended up ordering everything from our wedding inv. to the things you put on the favors to say thank you. All in all, Rhonda was great. Not so down with the other staff memebers. Our wedding was in October and by the end of September we dished out close to 700 once eveything was all set and done. I thought it was expensive and my wife was upset as final totals were not clearly discussed with us.

Not very nice!. I walked in and walked out. Rude people. I don't think they have enough staff or something. I think I will try Party City. I waited forever for someone to even help me and because I didn't have an appointment they got mad. Rude.

DIFFICULT! DO NOT USE IF OUT OF TOWN!!!. I am a born and bread Buffalonian and now reside in NYC. I have lived here now for 8 years+. I planned my wedding from NYC and used calling cards because they were a fraction of the price of Kate's or any other place in NYC (or so I thought). I normally wouldn't write a negative review but I found help, including Rochelle the owner ridulously difficult to deal with. They knew I lived in NYC and told them that repeatedly. So approving proofs, sending the invites all had to be done via email and through the post. I even asked, if this was going to be a problem, please be up front with me and I will just do them in NYC. Everything was a hassle from getting in the proofs, having them email it, etc. Everytime they had a response of "NO, we can't do that. I even offered to pay or have them use my corporate Fed Ex account. The attitude was appalling and in hindsight I would have gone elsewhere. My invitations came back with defects (which they did correct) but I was reminded AGAIN, that because I was out of town that made it that much more difficult. Were they serious? My husband and I couldn't believe it. If you are out of town planning an event I strongly suggest you go elsewhere. Too many headaches!!!
