Very poor experience from start to finish: belligerent and clueless staff.

never again!. This place sucks! My husband flew in from NC and I drove down from Canada for the show last Friday night; no only can you not find the place because the grey on black sign is small and hidden behind dumpsters but then they said they didn't have our willcall tickets. Once we finally got in, they didn't have the beverage I drink - Corona, not anything exotic! - and put a high school band on as the first act

When there was nothing on the menu I could eat (celiac) I asked if we could leave and return later to see Tab Benoit and was told no "the kitchen is open"

So we left during the second 'act' - the ChillBillies as my husband called them (heck that may even be their band name)

As my husband said, Royal Albert Hall to the Tralf, that's a long way down

One of the jazziest joints in town and a live-music legend.. The Scene
The Tralf has a rich history and a healthy dedication to hosting the best in local, national and international talent. It originally came to prominence as a jazz joint, hosting everyone from Pat Metheny to Grover Washington and Chuck Mangione. Under new management, the club's tastes have changed. Now the Tralf also hosts pop, rock, comedy and dinner theater.

The Draw
A broad cross-section of people flock to the Tralf on any given night, so don't be surprised to find yourself rubbing elbows with wealthy businesspeople who'll feel quite comfortable slapping the whole evening's expense on a corporate charge card. Tables are available on a first-come first-served basis, but latecomers will find plenty of room to party by the bar.

Tralf tops the list. The tralf is probably the best place to play at in Buffalo. The sound is great. The bar is great. You can stand up and dance. I've met a few national bands there after the show.

it's 'out there'. There is nothing better than seeing some of the top national and internal musical acts in this unique and intimate setting. Rock on!

Small venue - great sound. Great place to see a show ... small venue allows a more personal concert.
