I cant say enough about Amvets Thrift Store! When I run out of cloths to wear its the perfect place to go find cloths at. Some have a few stains and maybe a hole or two, but I usually dont buy them unless its for Gramma. I found alot of great finds like Ambercrombie and Finch jeans (but to small for me!) and a like new toaster and a blond wig and a real nice painting of the Last Supper and a half a dozen like-new underwears! Amvets - the place to go for old stuff!

The key word here being thrift....We found a lot of great deals on some wonderful merchandise. The people working there were kind and helpful and the store was reasonably clean. I'll be checking in there again very soon!

Amvets is a huge, clean, well-lit space with a focus on clothes, but they also have furniture, nick-knacks, and every once in a while (it wouldn't be a thrift shop if everything could be guaranteed, would it) a treasure like a nice old single-speed bike for $4.95, or a pair of $125.00 Camper Shoes (unworn) for $1.00. It's worth going through the racks of clothes for whatever you're looking for, everything from everyday jeans and shirts to vintage coats, sweaters, and dresses. And there's a great mix of people there. They also take donations whenever the store is open.
