HORRIBLE!. True they remodeled the inside, however it would have been a better idea to make sure it was exterminated! I ordered fried chicken, corn bread, mac and cheese and greens. It was good tasting until I noticed I was chewing on something hard, looked to see what it was, it was a insects leg! There was no doubt about it! I took the food back with there special ingredient insect leg and they tried to play it off like it was a burned green. Burned greens dont have hard whiskers! They did however refund my money. I will never eat there again!

Disappointed. GiGi's is a great hang out spot don’t get me wrong. But why does this place have to look like a shack /juke joint for the slaves in the early 30's. For crying out loud its 2010 get a credit card machine!!!!!! How inconvenient to always have to have cash. One day my mom asked me to pick her up some soup, the soup costed three dollars but because I didn’t have cash I had to use their boot-legged atm that charged me two dollers to use and my bank charged me two dollars for atm fees I ended up paying 7 dollars for a 3 dollar cup of soup, cause there’s no credit card machine!!! I could deal with the disgusting bathroom that makes you want to hold your pee rather than sit down if the food tasted good. This place is patroned to much not to have better customer service. Im sorry Gi Gi but although this was a place I used to come with my parents, I don’t see myself ever going back, let alone taking guest. A few pointers: go to pano's and see how they remodeled, START WITH THE BATHROOM. Taste the food on the menu. Train your waitresses on business and customer etiquette. Expand the diner (its way to small). Get a credit card machine please!!!!

why didnt they fix the steps with a few dollars of that city. we rrcently went to have a meal at gigis, we took and out of town friend for some alleged soul food. we were given styrafoam cups for our drinks(come on people, paper cups?). we selected our meal from the menu and waited a short period of time for our food. my order of chicken and dressing was terrible, the wing portion was bloody and the dressing was tasteless and cold, i pointed out the bloody wing to the waitress, but nothing was said or done. she added up our bill we paid and left. the bloody chicken was not taken off the bill that she added up at our table. i was totally embarassed in front of our atlanta guest. i will never trip over those two ragged steps again.

good soulfood. I like Gigi's because it reminds me of my grandma cooking. it's not the cleanest and I don't suggest using the bathrooms but the kitchen area itself doesn't look so bad. Theres always neighborhood people around so it's a very laidback comfortable setting. I don't live in Buffalo anymore but when I make it home I ALWAYS go to Gigi's I love the breakfast and the dinner plates!
