Excellent food, eventually. Things started off well. We had reservations for 6:30 on a Friday and were seated immediately. We were also brought some warm, fresh bread not long after arrival, which was also great. We placed our orders and were asked if we wanted the food brought out for our 2 year old daughter first. We said yes and her food came out in probably 10 minutes or so. So far so good. Then in another 10 minutes or so our appetizers came out. Not too bad I guess. Then we waited for the rest of our food. And waited. And waited some more. Finally around 7:40 or so our salads finally came. It was probably at least ten past 8 when our main dishes came out. The food was really good but after sitting for over an hour and a half a 2 year old is pretty much done sitting for the night. Needless to say we had to rush through our meal and didn't get to enjoy it at much as we would have liked. We will probably go back one more time and see if we just came on a bad night or if such long waits are ordinary. We're torn about bringing our daughter back though. On the one hand, it was a pretty laid-back family atmosphere when we were there, as there were quite a few other tables with small children. On the other hand, two hours in a restaurant with a 2 year old is about an hour too long. So I guess if you don't have kids and want some good Italian food and don't mind waiting all night for it, by all means go to Marco's. Everyone else beware.

OUTSTANDING ITALIAN!!!!!. I love Marco's Italian Restaurant. I went with my boyfriend and his mom for his birthday and it was just an amazing experience. Though a wine that we tried there once before was not available, Marco personally recommended another that was completely exquisit. We had the brushetta appetizer which was so delicious it is cravable. Two of us ordered chicken parmigana which was again very delicious. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the sauce has a distinct tasty and slightly sweet flavor. One of us ordered orange roughy which was another amazing choice. Service was great and everything was very reasonably price. It is the perfect place for special occasions as well as satisfying your italian cravings.

still the best. i saw thier web site and went back to marcos after moving back to buffalo ,it was my favorite before i left and can't belive it but marcos was even better afteer coming back to buffalo!!!! great job.....thanks.

the menu has expanded and the specials were amazing,the sauce is the best ive tasted and dont leave out the desserts .service was super and the wine list top notch. keep it up guys because what ever your doing it works.

outstanding. my wife and i love to dine and marcos has the best italian cuisine in the city, hands down. we have been going there for years and have never been disappointed. they also have the best canoli in town.

wonderful dinner. my husband took me here for my birthday, we had an outstanding dinner , wine from a great list, the staff was proffesional and friendly. thank you marco's for becoming my new favorite!!

Personal favorite. I live in Buffalo and I do believe that this is one of buffalos best. It has huge portions, great Italian food, extremely inexpensive, good wine menu, etc. This is real italian food (NOT Olive Garden or Franks Sunny Italy). The only drawback is parking on the street. I strongly reccommend for the best value Italian in Buffalo.

IS THIS BUFFALO'S BEST?. I took my sons family here based solely on the ratings of city search. While the food was OK it certainly cannot be the best Buffalo has to offer.

It wouldn't even make average in st. louis on the hill. The helpings were extremely generous and the homemade bread quite good and the kids menu

almost free. In terms of value only I would recommend it, not for italian food quality.

Great little find. It's the kind of resturant that reminds a person why Buffalo is such a great food town. The menu is inexpensive, the portions gigantic, and the food exellent. It's a great place to bring people from out of town and a good place to get a great meal on a cold winter day.

The only problem is the service. We had a young waitress who was painfully slow, didn't know the menu and didn' bother asking us if we cared for any desert or coffee.

The ambiance is fair. A little too brightly lit for a romantic dinner, but it's still a friendly feelinmg room.

Terrible Service!. The food was by far some of the best Italian i have had. but the service was one of the worst. the waitresses need training...bad.
