Despite the general consensus that it could use a face-lift, Molly's holds its place on the regular roster of local college bars. Actually, the crowd is a pretty good mix of neighborhood regulars and college kids, except on weekends, when the place is packed to the gills with testosterone and hairspray. Molly's Pub is part of the University Community Initiative, a college-sponsored effort to make the area around UB safer and more business-friendly. Keep that in mind on the stagger home.

Molly's is famous for its bartenders and drink specials, especially on weeknights. Somewhat surprisingly, Molly's is also well-known for its Wednesday night dart leagues.…

Horrible Help. A group of friends and just got in the bar one night and ordered a few pitchers of beer. We wanted to play darts so we were through the bar to look for the best dart board to play on. When a bouncer, that wasn't working at the time pushed us and screamed profanities at us to get out of his way? Why? No one knows, drunk....yes! Well we're not troublesome people, but he pushed us and all the other bouncers gathers where we were kicked out. They lost our business because of rudeness and I am telling you to warn you.
