The Background – In 1875, Buffalo mayor William Rogers received two deer as a gift. He sent them to graze in Delaware Park and inadvertently founded Buffalo's zoo. There are so many beautiful animals to see. It has gotten cleaner through the years, which is a big improvement from MY childhood!
