DREADFUL! I ADVISE ALL BRIDES TO STEER CLEAR!. I ADVISE ALL BRIDES TO STEER CLEAR OF THIS BOUTIQUE. I would not send my worst enemy to Christine's Bridal Boutique. Let us forget for a moment that the scent of cigarette smoke permeates throughout the boutique, let us forget that the decor is reminiscent of late1970's and let us forget of the overall feeling of tacky and cheap that invades one’s senses when one walks through the door. My mother wanted to turn around and leave as soon as we entered this oasis of poor taste; and that is EXACTLY what we should have done. Christine's provides HORRENDOUS customer service. Although the boutique is small, it is difficult to find assistance. And when one does, the employees are rude, miserable, unfriendly, inhospitable, ill-mannered and cold. I cannot emphasize enough, dear reader, how terribly DREADFUL are the boutique and its staff. The website is not up-to-date which caused me and my bridal party to show up on a day which the handwritten sign in the window read CLOSED (contradicting the website). This might have been avoided had the staff EVER answered our phone calls made on several different occasions, during supposed business hours (which are still unclear). And finally, the selection is slim for both brides and bridal party. This is such an important time and process in a bride’s life. And it is imperative that a trusting relationship be formed between the bride and staff. Christine's could not provide a satisfying impression or visit. Is a girl to trust them with the most important day of her life? I certainly would not. I reiterate, I ADVISE ALL BRIDES TO STEER CLEAR OF THIS BOUTIQUE.
HORRIBLE service!!!. This is my first time writing a review. I would have gave them no stars (if it possible, not sure) if I had the opportunity to. I called Christine's Bridal Boutique to ask if I needed an appointment, they informed me I did not, if I came on a Saturday. I went earlier this morning, there was one other person trying on dresses, or should I say looking at dresses. I looked online before I went to I had a list of dresses ready for me to try on so I didn't have to waste their time, and my time looking. After unexpectedly browsing for about 30 minutes, still, no one even said hello to me. I went downstairs to the desk and asked for help. The woman asked me if I had anything in mind. I promptly showed her my list. She reacted quickly, laughed and said I cant show you all of those dresses!. Yes, my list had about ten bridesmaids dresses on it. I am disgusted already, but i decided to ask her if she would show me a few of them. She agreed. (I am pretty sure she was the owner) She brought me back upstairs and pointed at what I already blankly stared at for the previous half hour. I asked about sizes, she said she would pin them for me b/c they has few in my size. She quickly realized I was there with my mother in law and my 2 year old daughter (who was crying, out of boredom and the uncomfortable vibe of the so called "boutique"). So then the woman told me that my mother in law could pin my up as easily as she could. HA! That was the end of our experience. We thanked her for her WONDERFUL attempt at customer service, and left. I would NOT recommend this place of business to anyone, unless they are looking to be mistreated.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ! AWFUL TREATMENT BY OWNER..
THEY DONT COMMUNICATE OR ANSWER EMAILS.
They may advertise lower prices, but there will be unfair, added fees. What you will get is poor quality products, and low standards in business practices.
Offering cheap prices doesnt give a person the right to treat their customers so badly!
For us, the bridesmaid dress ended up costing twice the price. The dress arrived several sizes too large. The owner denied any responsibility and clearly did not care about helping to solve the problem. She said they would alter it 2 days before the wedding!- of course we would have to pay additional fees for that! It was not possible to come into Buffalo until the day before the wedding, so the dress had to be altered by a tailor.
I called to ask for a discount, since the owner or the dress company made the mistake. If I pay someone for a product, I expect to get that product. We did not get what we ordered. Christine was incredibly rude and nasty. Childishly denying any responsibility.
It became clear to me that, since many others had this problem, there is a scam whereby they order a dress 4 sizes too big, then charge for alterations.
The owner refused to respond to any emails as I was trying to work things out.
To top it off, Christine called the bride and told her lies about things I did not say. She told her that I said the bride was unhappy with her bridal dress and with the shop. I never said anything close to that! What kind of business woman intentionally stresses the bride with lies 1 or 2 weeks before her wedding?
If it werent for the disgusting behavior of this owner I wouldn't be as bothered by the events.
I am apalled and shocked at the lack of professionalism and customer service with this business! I went here to try on bridesmaid dresses which I found on-line and were told they were only available at Christine's. The first time I went there we were cmopletely rushed through the looking process and the consultant acted as if she was completely bothered by us. Nonetheless we did end up finding the perfect dresses and decided to order them there anyway. We were told it would take 6-8 weeks to bring them in. We placed the order on March 1, 2011. On july 21, 2011 we were informed they were finally in. We made an appointment for fittings/alterations. Again, upon our arrival we were treated rudely and were rushed. Once the dresses were brought out we realized that they were the wrong color!! I had 3 bridesmaids, all of whom ordered brown, and I now had 3 dresses, one brown, and 2 grey!! Christine said it was MY fault because that's what I told her to order, which was false. When we ordered the dresses Christine even gave us a swatch of the brown color so that I could coordinate the tuxes.
She told me that she would do whatever she could to correct this and call me first thing in the morning, which was a Friday. Their hours are listed as 11 a.m . - 3 p.m. Of course, I never received a phone call. I tried calling, faxing a letter, emailing and NO RESPONSE. I had to call the designer personally to try and correct this situation, and was informed that the soonest they could re-order dresses would be for delivery 4 weeks after my wedding :-( I'm now in a position with no bridesmaid dresses and my wedding is in 4 weeks! This place has completely ruined my entire wedding!! Please take my advice and DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BRIDAL SALON!! THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS, LIARS, AND FRAUDS!!!! I did file a complaint with the BBB and hope something gets resolved. . . .
Great experience at Christine's. I had a great experience at Christine's! I tried on several dresses and found the one that I loved. It was an overall good time with family and friends. I'm glad I went there last.
For price and selection nobody was better.. I can't say enough about how great my experience was with Christine's. I shopped around everywhere possible in US and Canada within 100 miles and for price and selection nobody was better.
I recommend Christine's. Good price, Good service, Good selection (Ordered from catalog) ...
Pleased with the purchase and service.. I purchased my dress here and was pleased with the service. The woman that took care of me was pleasant and very knowlegeable. I did shop around but I came back to Christine's to buy.
A Happy Bride!. I was very happy with Christine's Bridal. They treated me well and I was very happy with the pricing.
