Romeo & Juliet's--good food, great ambience. This is for their new location on Sheridan Drive in Williamsville. My fiance and I recently visited here after a so-so dinner at a chic, expensive restaurant nearby. What a pleasant surprise--the off-the-boat Italian manager (owner?) and staff made us feel so very welcome and the restaurant was filled with a heavenly aroma. The decor is understated but very warm, intimate, and romantic. We feasted on the desserts, specifically, good-sized portions of chocolate and chocolate/peanut butter cake. Yummy. Filling. Reasonably priced.

We plan to return to check out the rest of the menu! Buon appetito!

Editorial Review by Christy Buena. Specializing in European-style pizza, the cafe serves dessert including tiramisu and offers an extensive wine list.

Buon alimento e un buon tempo!. Went to Romeo & Juliet's for lunch a couple of days ago. What a fantastic decision. It is a bakery/cafe and from the very moment you walk in the ambiance/aroma transport you to Italy. We ordered an appetizer sampler plate and it was delicious, from the eggplant, to the goat cheese, to the prosciutto. We had personal pizzas for lunch, the margherita and Pizza con le verdure. Both were excellent. To finish we shared an order of Tiramisu, which I must say is the absolute best I have had in the city!!! Yes, it was that GOOD! The menu although short was quite impressive, with food/ingredients that tasted fresh and were not typical of other Italian restaurants in Buffalo. Our host/waiter was very amiable, charming and accomodating and the prices very reasonable. We are looking forward to going back to R & J's very soon.

It's Italian. Romeo and Juliet's mama must be in the back cooking up her family's favorite meals.

I haven't tasted as good Italian food since I left New York City'Little Italy. There is more to Italian then spagehetti and Romeo and Juliet serves it!
