great place. i've been going to grandma's mora's for over 10 years, i've never had a bad experience. love the wetter burrito, the guac. nacos, the seafood nacos & seafood enchilladas. they have dos equis and its very reasonably priced. great location too. its very relaxed, and that's good, because this is the kind of place i'm not in a hurry to leave.

DONT GO PLEASE!!. I truly should have went to Taco Bell or Mighty Taco because there food is way better. I asked if it was authentic food and if the cook was Mexican. Maybe they replied to what I wanted to hear but this food is not authentic. The enchiladas were I had were absolutely horrible, they were filled with cheese with the meat on top. I will never go to this place every again, CINCO DE MAYO Or LA TOLTECA is way better and come closer to authentic than this place

Loved it. First of all, let me say that I have been to my fair share of Mexican restaurants and I loved this one! I thought the food was great and fairly priced. As far as the people who didnt get great service, I did not have that experience. I like going into a family owned local place where the servers actually know your name and what you like to eat instead of reading off corporate produced lists of specials and sounding like a robot while doing it. I also enjoyed the fact than I can get a wide array of Mexican beers and delicious margaritas that actually have some tequila in them! All in all, I would absolutely recommend this place for all of you who arent too stuffy and beige to appreciate a good, local, friendly restaurant.

Disgusting, disgusting, disgusting. This place is a horrid mess. We got there, waited 10 minutes to be seated because there were no waitresses in sight. The place wasn't very busy at all. When we finally got seated, it took 1/2 for the waitress to finally take our order. It took another 45 minutes for it to come.

I ordered two tacos with beans and rice. My boyfriend ordered a chimichanga with beans and rice. My boyfriend's order was wrong, but he didn't say anything because we had already waited for so dang long.

We both took a few bites of our food, and were absolutely disgusted. It tasted awful, not to mention ice cold. We were both ticked off because of the wait, but we tried to make the best of it. We tried to eat a little bit more, but honestly, I couldn't convince myself to like it at all. We both decided to leave, and we weren't going to pay for it either.

There was another couple waiting to be seated (and of course, nobody in sight to seat them), and my boyfriend told them no to eat there. They asked why, and we told them. Right after we told them, the waitress came running up to ring up our bill. My boyfriend said that his order was wrong, tasted like complete garbage, and there was no way in hell he was going to pay for it. The waitress didn't seem surprised, and said "That's fine."

We left, and the other couple followed! Guess they didn't want to chance it.

This really was the worst tasting food I've eaten in a restaurant. With the worst service.

Go at your own risk.

Better than Reviewed. Overall, this was a very nice Mexican place. Not the best I've ever had, but I haven't had what I would consider great Mexican food in Buffalo yet. I'm the type of person who likes to read the reviews on here before I try a place, so naturally my review is (hopefully) more useful to that type of person. More of a review of the reviews.

First, I don't think it's fair to complain about the ingredients in what you ordered when they are listed in the menu.

Second, their salsa is clearly not spaghetti sauce. I agree with those who praise their chips and salsa as delicious and, apparently, homemade. What they mistook for oregano was probably the cilantro, which makes the salsa very tasty, but I guess not for everyone. So just to clarify, there is no oregano in their salsa. Though I do see how the consistency could have reminded them of spaghetti sauce. But I do find it tacky that only the first are free, and you have o pay after that.

Third, I can't see how it's fair to say a place is bad because of service there on one visit. Our service was great. And again, I don't see how people could say it seemed processed. Everything seemed fresh and homemade.

Oh, and the beans were wicked awesome!

So, good food at decent prices. My only complaint: parking!

PS--they're in the frozen aisle. Mmm, Mexican chorizo. Yum.

I was drunk, and it still tasted bad!. I had sworn off going to Grandma Mora's after my first trip there (their hot sauce was Franks?!), but I went back, in case the first time was a fluke. My experience was not any different. I had the taco salad, and was taken aback when I was asked what kind of dressing I wanted. I don't think I've ever been asked that before, and I can't imagine taco salad being dressed in anything but salsa, hot sauce, and maybe sour cream.

I received my salad, or, should I say, shredded lettuce, chicken, and cheese in a tortilla bowl. It was horrible. My friend took a picture of the salad after about three bites, and all it was all lettuce. Quote disappointed, I threw some of the Italian dressing on there, and forced it down, since I did have to pay for it. Although I live around the corner from Grandma Mora's, I will not be coming back.

Worst mexican (if u can call it that). Bad, smelly unauthentic Mexican food. If you are looking for good mex, Mighty Taco would be a better bet.

The salsa was actually spaghetti sauce, with oregano and everything. YUCK!!

We Love Gramma Mora!. This is one of the best mexican restaurants! Their homemade chips and salsa are complimentary when you arrive and are to die for! Their refried beans are so good - not the typical mush you usually get at mexican restaurants - there are actual beans in Gramma Mora's refried beans! If you are lucky to dine on a nite that Gramma Mora is there she always makes sure to come to every diners table to ask how you are and how your meal is, now that's classy! We love Gramma Mora's!! The best there is!!

Not Good. Well when it comes down to it we left mad. Everything was so processed tasting and the waitress could've cared less about her job. Never will go back.
