This restaurant is so bad even renovating it will not help it.. I was in this restaurant this summer for the first time with clients from Pittsburgh. The drinks were really overpriced and tasted watered down. Two of my clients had to send their food back beacuse it was made wrong. My steak was ordered medium well and I got it very rare. I sent it back and got it very very well done. In fact it was charred crisp. When I talked to the manager he was very rude and refused to do anything and told my clients and myself off. It was so embarressing. I will never go back there again and you should not as well.

Fine Dining Experience. Visited the Brownstone Bistro for the 1st time. Atmosphere is fantastic. Inviting decour and cozy surroundings. Feels like a midevil castle upon entering. The drinks were slightly overpriced, but well made. The menu is mostly steak with a few alernative options such as pork & Swordfish. Our party sampled several different entrees and everyone thought it was excellent. I had the 32oz Ribeye which was cooked perfectly and tasted fantastic. Only complaint would be it was a touch too fatty. NY Strip and Fillet Mignon looked out of this world. Side dishes are extra $$ and portions were a bit small for family style dining. Outstanding wine list as well. Service was great, we had Cato as our server who gave us the obigatory "not the OJ Simpsons Cato remark." A very good restaurant, excellent atmosphere and fine food. Well worth trying.

Architectural elegance and a fresh mix of flavors give this bistro cosmopolitan flair.. The Scene
On the cusp of downtown and Allentown, this restaurant's exposed brick walls, welcoming bar, summer roof garden, and elegant dining balcony make this one of the most beautiful establishments in the city. The menu accommodates the appetites and schedules of all diners, whether pressed for time or prepared for a leisurely meal.

The Food
Don't overlook the sumptuous appetizers like wild-mushroom ragout in balsamic butter sauce with flat bread, or smoked salmon cheesecake with red onion coulis and fried capers. Outstanding daily specials have included exotic oven-roasted fish with lemongrass and watercress beurre blanc.

Dish to Die For
The linguine with thin-sliced eggplant pockets stuffed with pine nuts, watercress, spinach and goat cheese is superb.
