Great Spot. If you want a place to kick back a few beers, fill up on some good food, chat with friends, and have a good time then look no further. Relax and enjoy!!
not exactly cheapest.
I do like Brennan's but it should not be listed as the cheapest - I would have to say average prices as most restaurants. I used to think that they had large portions but the last time I visited (3 days ago) my normal order is the salmon cesar salad and the piece of salmon they gave this time around was 1/2 the size it normally is. Also their side of fries are a bit pricey but good and that portion size went down too but the price didn't. That was very disappointing.
The service here has always been slow, they draw a huge local crowd - as it is a favorite bar and restaurant hang out - so if you plan on visiting plan on staying you will be here a bit so relax with appetizers and a drink perhaps. I wish they would hire more staff to handle the crowds so when you have children they do not have to wait too long to eat.
The day we went they also had a magician for the kids that was very cool!
This is Where the Natives Go. I was born and raised in Buffalo. In those 18 years, I can't say there is another restaurant that comes to mind as a favorite other than Brennan's. Perhaps you have to be from Buffalo to get it, but this is a great place. The wings are authentic, so if you're looking for something that is breaded and too hot to taste, then you're out of luck. Buffalo wings are fried and tossed in Frank's. And the service is always friendly, but if it's packed (which it usually is) you may have to wait. The bar crowd is always fun and always ready to cheer on our Bills or Sabres to victory or (more often times than not) defeat. If you want a taste of Buffalo and some amazing food, Brennan's is the place to go.
Very dissapointing. We came for wings as recommended by a native buffalonian. The suicide wings and the mild wings were identical-very mild, and very dry. The celery and carrots were old, some were rotten. One of us had a portabello wrap. It had next to no portabellos-it was a basic rice wrap and very poor. The service was horrible, we had to ask the waitress to take our order. I would not go there again and strongly recommend against it.
biggest menu I've seen. Great meals. They have a huge menu, of which I've never had the same thing twice and the food never fails to satisfy completely. That's hard to do because I'm the worst person to be in a restaurant with if I don't like the food. I've recommended it to everyone. Big corner bar type atmosphere, great service the only crowded spot is the bar, it's the only place you can smoke inside. Prices are damn good for both the quality and size of portions. Tell them to bring back the crabcakes, best I've had outside of Maryland or Virginia. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED !
