Great liquor store!. We used to shop at Premier on Delaware and then switched to Transit, we shopped there for over twenty years. We stopped shopping there when we finally got sick of the rude cashiers and arrogant floor people. We love wine and we buy a lot of wine for ourselves and as gifts, so you'd figure we would be valued customers. Not so with Premier, they take your money and don't care if you come back.

We went into Georgetown because it's convenient after shopping @ Wegmans. It's a comfortable store with a terrific selection of wines and liquors. They have spectacular wine tastings and they email us to let us know what's happening in the store. The guys who work there are all knowledgeable about their products and they're nice to deal with, no snottiness or superior attitudes.

The prices @ Georgetown are lower than Premier on everything we've bought. There are a number of discounts available for cases or mixes too.

Georgetown Square Liquors has all of our business now.

Poor service. The service is poor and they have a small amount of good wine. Premier has so much more wine, and much better prices.

Great Wine Store. This our favorite wine store. Though I like to frequent Premier Gourmet on Delaware Ave for food stuff, I usually skip "the big liquor group" next door and make a point to shop at Georgetown. The selection of wine is smaller at Georgetown, but each and every bottle is carefully chosen, and the staff is even more knowledgeable. I find their prices are often lower than "the big liquor group" . They hold HUGE wine tastings on weekends, so be sure to join their mailing list.
