Buffalo >Steve's Wonderful World-Pets
Research for Yourself. Bought my little Lena from Steve's almost a year ago...and I couldn't be happier. I've heard so many negative things from people, yet can't help but think they are just perpetuating the same old rumors. None of the negative reviews I've read have ever had substantial evidence that Steve's buys from puppy mills; such as links to proof, etc... Do your own research and you'll see that Steve's is a great place to get your pet. I even had an issue after Lena was spayed (she's Chi so stresses easy) and she had some hair loss. They stood by their puppy guarantee and paid for the corresponding vet bills without any problems. Would definitely recommend Steve's and plan on getting a 2nd puppy from them soon.
Don't Support Cruelty to Animals. Just so you know, when you purchase a dog at a pet store, you are most likely perpetuating the continuation of puppy mills. Sure, your puppy may be healthy and live a long and happy life, but it's parents and many, many more dogs are left to suffer their entire lives living in deplorable and cruel conditions just so the puppy mill owners and the pet store owners can make a profit. You can get practically any breed of dog from a reputable small breeder or even better yet, a breed specific rescue group. Sure, you may have to wait a period of time instead of going out on a Saturday and picking up your puppy on a whim, but in the end you are doing nothing but putting money in the pockets of people who could care less about the lives of the thousands of dogs left to suffer and die in the puppy mills. Steve will say he does not get his dogs from mills, but records prove he does. When you go into his store, ask to see the records of where the puppies come from then do your research and you will find out the truth.
Steve's "Wonderful" World-Pets holds pets hostage!!!. NEVER EVER buy anything here. You will be contributing to the animal neglect and price inflation policy of this company. These animals are over 4 months old sitting in tiny cages. The owner and staff contribute to the ruin of animals willingly. They would rather subject a pet to deplorable conditions than place a pet in a loving home. Is $900.00 worth it to ruin a pets chance at a sucessful happy family life? We went in on a Saturday to see a puppy that was 17 weeks old and they wanted that amount for it. The price was set to go down each week the puppy stayed there by $50.00. Why would they not discount the price drastically to avoid socially crippling a defenselss animal. We were told " we strictly hold to our pricing policy".... what so when someone does buy the dog all it's formative training time has been stuck in a waste ridden cage the size of a shoebox. The puppy was trying to sleep with it's own fecal matter in it's face. The tiny scrap of blanket was right next to the waste so the puppy had no choice. When brought to staffs attention they did not even care, it was still about the money. This is not the place to find an animal as the staff and especially the owner clearly do not respect or cared for animals, BOYCOTT STEVE'S "WONDERFUL" WORLD OF PETS !!!
Like to shop here. Very Knowledgable Staff. Fair Selection Of Fish (including Marine).
Got a great dog from Steve's. First off i like steves pets the kids can come in and play with the dogs. all the puppys get lots of socialization along with the other animals. I bought a shiba inu there and she is a wonderful dog.
What a neat place. The store does not sell baby Chickens!!! It rents them out around easter time (To Save Unwanted Rabbits) and then has them returned after easter. The chicks are then donated to area farms where they are used as laying chickens. So they are not used as meat chickens.
Nice store. A nice hands on pet store for the little ones in your family; bunnies, gunea pigs and such.
lots of products. lots of pet products. staff seems knowledgeable.
Always a good selection. We buy fish here and pet toys for our friends. Always a good selection and knowledgeable staff.
They carry higher quality pet food. One of the few stores that carries higher quality, lesser known food brands
