Capello Salon and Day Spa is not the upscale salon it used to be. I was a very loyal client for many years until my favorite stylist moved elsewhere. So I followed Now I cannot find him, so I went back to Capello's for a Ombre highlight, mind you I have not been back there for a good 3 years.

What a change! The atmosphere is horrible. Dirty, clutter, color stains, & hair everywhere, hair covering the top of the counters, hair all over the inside of my stylists sissor case with all the sissors in it, shampoo (or color) still on the inside of the bowl where I would put my neck and I had to ask my stylist to wipe it off. Seriously, how can this place be sanitary? This is only 1 part of it.

I make my appointment with a "Senior" stylist for the lovely Ombre highlight. Show a picture as to how I want my hair. My hair ended up far from what I shown. I showed blonde Ombre, I got, light brown and red Ombre. While at the shampoo bowl, I was asked if I wanted my hair dried. Well of course I do, I am not going to leave the salon with wet hair. She says, well its $27 for me to blow dry your hair. What???? Really? Then she says, you can use my stuff and do it yourself to save the money. Is this some kind of joke? I guess it should have hit me when the lady next to me was drying her own hair, and the lady on the other side of me was holding her own extensions while her stylist was curling them. Why on earth would I drive an hour to your salon, so I can do my own hair?

Okay it gets better. I go to cash out, I wip out my American Express card. "I am sorry we don't take American Express." Fine! Here is my Visa. I get my receipt, there is no where for me to put the tip. So I ask, where do I put in the tip? I am sorry, we do not allow that anymore, if you would like to tip your stylist (even though she ruined my hair) you must use cash, if you do not have cash we have an ATM machine.

This place is such a joke now I can only laugh and say I will NEVER go back.

Does anyone know where expert colorist Greg Ridge is???

Capellos: My Favorite Day of the Month. My mood improves even as I open the door. Greeted by friendly faces, always upbeat. They know my name. Waterwalls soothegreat my mind. And then right on time I am greeted by my stylist Becky. As far as I know, she is the best of the best. I have never been happier with my hair and it has never been healthier. Refreshments are at my fingertips. The nail salon has its own room as does the pedicure section. It doesn't stop there. They give massages of your choice in a wonderful room with soothing music. All in all this is a day I really look forward to each month!

Wouldn't go anywhere else!!. Capello Salon is located on Main St. in Williamsville, NY. I have been getting my hair cut there since the late 80s and wouldn't go anywhere else. They are professional, helpful and always easy to work with whenever a conflict arises.

They also have great nail and facial services!

WONDERFUL talent and customer service!. I made my appointment last minute when I was having a 'bad hair day'... My stylist was Laura and she was WONDERFUL! She spent at least 5 minutes with me when I got there asking me lots of questions about what I liked about my hair and what I didn't like. We looked through magazines, and talked about what styles would work with my hair. At the end of my appoinment, I LOVED my new color and style! It was exactly what I needed and I enjoyed the conversation throughout the process. I would absolutely go back!

Best all around salon. This is a busy place - it may not be the most relaxing salon experience you've ever had (hence the 4 star rating -otherwise would be a 5!) but it is worth it for the exceptional services provided. Best hair services, pedicures, and facials; Marina, Aileen and Tracy are awesome!

Great salon!. I have gone to Capello for years. I really love the way my hair looks each time. The stylists are pleasant and professional--especially Nikki and Jeff!
