Just PastaClosed. CLOSED For Business according to Buffalo Spree Restaurant Guide 2007. They were extremely over priced and I did not see the hype behind the menu
Just Pricy. Just pasta is just a rip off. Real small portions not that well cooked and the service is non existant for the steap pricing. Trendy portions are one thing but cheaping out and charging a buch is another.
Hardly just pasta.... Delicious food, elegant yet relaxed atmosphere, and consistent service make this restaurant one of my favorites. A prix fixe is offered M-Th until 6:30, which makes this ornate dining experience a real deal! The menu changes frequently and is always creative. Lamb and steak specials are superb.
Pasta goes prima donna at this restaurant where contemporary concepts and opera murals take center stage..
The Scene
The interior of this brick building features restored murals of Italian opera surrounding intimate booths and tables. The murals were originally painted for the 1950's-era Leonardo's Grotto Bar, but these days high-quality local artwork is also on display. Table service is friendly and efficient. Pleasant patio dining is available on the quiet side street.
The Food
The menu changes frequently. Imaginative pasta offerings are balanced by contemporary entrees like grilled Atlantic salmon with orange barbecue sauce or grilled spice-rubbed pork chops with summer peach barbecue sauce. Appetizers and salads, like the chilled poached lobster with cucumber noodles, are as creative as the entrees. Just Pasta's magnificent desserts have a following all their own.
Dish to Die For
When you need food now, try the hearty penne pasta with roasted pork loin, field greens, white beans, and garlic.
