A favorite among local college students, Goodbar is the best place to hear Buffalo bands ranging in style from emo, that deeply personal realm of indie-rock, to punk. On off-nights, relax with a drink and a friend.



The Stage
There's not a bad seat in the house, although you'll be lucky if you can find one--most people stand with beer in hand or boogie in front of the stage. A popular tour stop for up-and-coming indie groups, now's the time to catch a show before the bands get big. If the music gets too loud take a breather on the first floor, where pool, darts and foosball help pass the time. Goodbar's great beer selection includes its own microbrew, but there's also an upstairs coffee bar and patio seating on Elmwood Avenue.

Good times...Great friends. Goodbar is a great place to go. Its always got people there....if you're looking for a chick or a dude theres always a bunch roaming around! On Thursday nights, Kevin McCarthy plays there and just rocks the house! He can get any party started.....he can play all kinds of music, whatever floats your boat.
