poor excuse for customer service.
The customer service here is very poor. It appears as if no one wants to work at all.
I ordered a bed and mattress in the store. The sales person was clueless. It took forever to place the order.
two weeks later the sales person called to say the bed isn't in stock but she took the liberty to give me the floor model. I had to threaten to cancel the order entirely to get a discount given that the bed was not brand new any longer.
They I received a mumbled call about scheduling the delivery. I called back and left a message. No return call. I called again and left a message. No return call.
I called back in the evening and spoke to someone who said they couldnt help me but I should call back again.
I finally reached someone. They would give me a day but no time. (not even morning or evening). When I pressed, she said well, I am already delivering to people who requested a time. Okay, so did I. I was only able to get a time when I said, fine cancel the order.
The woman who schedules offers very poor service and some big attitude.
I have never written a review but my experience with them is so poor, I have to. They must not need the repeat business.

best furniturestore and quality. I purchased furniture recently at Carolina furniture. I special ordered a sofa lovseat chair and ottoman. Unlike most stores that you have to buy the color in stock, we were able to customize it the the color and style we liked. It came in the time frame that they quoted us and the delivery guys were dressed professionally were on time and the quality is better then anything you will find around time. DON'T EVER PURCHASE FROM THESE PEOPLE. I purchased from these people in november 2008. there furniture that comes from manufacturer craftmaster, sofa, is junk, craftmaster manufacturer has many complaints filed against them. i had this sofa three months, and the fabric is grossly defective, it's pulling apart. the threads are not holding up, when their repair person Jim came out he informed me that he's seen this with at least three different fabrics from this manufacturer. and when i email or call this cheryl person that's representing the company carolina furniture wants to send the cushion back from the sofa to the manufacturer to test the fabric, uh, duh. send the whole sofa back, the fabric is falling apart, so i'm expected to entertain the legal profession with a cushion missing? yes that's what they expect. now they're ignoring me, they don't like the tone of my emails. i'm prepared to bring in a television crew to do a story on how this company scams.…
Carolina Furniture...DO NOT BUY FROM THERE!. Do not buy from here! Save yourself months of aggravation. We put a deposit down for a kitchen set and dining room set in August. They told us it would be 3 weeks. Kitchen set came in 6 weeks later extremely damaged. How they even sent something so damaged is beyond me. We could not refuse shipment. They told us they would ship a new one. The warehouse called and said that was badly damaged too. They sent us a scratch and dent as loaners. Meanwhile, the dining set was put on a backorder. Nobody informed us of this after 2 months of calling them trying to find out a delivery date. What happened to 3 weeks? We wrote the owner a letter and got no response. We then went there to speak with the owner. We got a manager. We wanted to cancel the order. He literally told us he was just going to stand there and just listen to everything we had to say and that he wasnt going to do anything about it. So we said we will tell everyone at work, email everyone, etc to tell people our story and not to buy there, and he told us to "go ahead". well, it started in August, it is now December 15th. We have no tables, but we finally got them to cancel the order and got our deposit back. With that type of business model/plan, I cant imagine they will be in business long after the new year. It has been a nightmare for me and my wife. 4 months of hassles, lies and deceit. Not to mention they sat on our 1000.00 bucks for 4 months. Buyer beware!…
Buyer beware. Carolina Furniture sold us complete junk! And when the junk came in damaged they tried to get us to keep it. When we wouldn't go for that, they took the junk away, still charged our credit card while we waited for the replacement junk to come. Seriously, the dining table and chairs they sold us were not even wood. It is God only knows what painted to look like wood. This furniture is the most expensive piece of junk we've ever bought. I would really consider shopping else where.…
