In Short – Established in 1982, this chain gained a following for its laid-back atmosphere and generous portions. Patrons settle into comfortable booths and tables in dining rooms with plants, artwork and décor reminiscient of the villas in the Tuscan countryside. Starters include scampi, sausage or pepperoni pizza, and several soup choices, as well as a signature seafood dip (crab, shrimp, cheese and marinara). Entrees include classics like lasagna, fettuccine Alfredo and chicken parmigiana. There are also "Garden Fare" options, which promise 30 percent fewer calories.
Editor's Tips
- What to Drink:
- What's spaghetti and meatballs without a glass of wine? You'll find vintages here from Italy, Australia, California and Washington.

This is another chain restaurant with a novel idea that is quickly being passed by. I have never once eaten here and not had to return a meal.
The menu is full of great ideas that the cooks are simply unable to execute. Like most chains, they employ teenagers and dropouts. That might be fine for a burger joint, but it is disaster in a place like this.
Basically, this is a good restaurant on paper, which gets mobbed because there isn't anything comparable - until now. Go to Carrabba's on Niagara Falls Blvd, if you insist upon eating at a chain. I predict that Carabba's will destroy Olive Garden. Its that much better.
Not Local!!!!!!

Should not be included in local favorites... The food is consistent, but it not interesting or very flavorfull. For the money, I would rather go to Chef's!
- Pros: Consistent
- Cons: Boring

Sorry but I can not agree that this place should be included with other local Italian food. I find the food here to be non-impressive. The breadsticks are flavorless and the salad is limited from personal preference. Not everyone like Italian dressing. Sorry I do not agree that this is a good place if you want goood Italian food.
- Cons: tastless, bland
