A Motherâ??s Day Disaster!!!. A Mother’s Day Disaster!!! This had to be one of the most disappointing Mother’s Days I have ever experienced. As usual, we decided to dine out. BIG letdown. We decided to go to Danny’s on Genesee St., we hadn’t been there for years. Well, problem #1 – limited menu. This means if you order something not specifically listed on the “special” menu, you pay the price of the least expensive item amount on that “special” menu. I tell you this because I guess this is common practice. Oh and by the way, don’t inform the customer of this policy in any way shape or form. Danny’s special menu had nothing we were interested in as far as an entrée is concerned, so my husband and I ordered the soup and salad bar only. This is a regular menu item that goes for about $7.00. Now remember, there is a “special” menu for Mother’s Day. Because of this “special” menu the soup and salad bar cost us $14.00 each. Yes, please feel free to rip me off just because you decide because we ordered off the special menu, you are well within your rights to charge us double the regular price. BUT!! To make matters worse there were two other people in our party that ordered off the “special” menu and each of their dinners were less than our soup and salad bar AND they got that same soup and salad bar included with their dinner. I can guarantee that we will never set foot in Danny’s Restaurant again and I would advise you to be extremely careful if you do!! Pricing policies like that do NOT bring in repeat business!!

Highly Recommended!!. I try to make it to Danny's at least twice a week (and believe me I would go more if I lived close). I love their wide selection, phenomenal food, and great value. They also have my favorite soup- Spicy Buffalo Chicken Wing!! I have it every time I go in there, and everyone should try it because you will love it! Their menu (both lunch and dinner) is packed with all kinds of great dishes, and I have never had anything I didn't thoroughly enjoy... Highly recommended to anyone looking for great tasting food, for unbelievable values.

Good food but don't sit in the booths behind the bar!. The food is pretty good--especially the Friday fish fry. That being said, my partner and I were seated behind the bar, which is between the kitchen and the exit to the dumpster. There was a repulsive odor in that section and kitchen staff kept running garbage past our booth to the dumpster--yuck!
