We stopped going there in the Spring of
2012 because of poor service and the usual good food was going downhill due to bad management. We decided to try it again last week and you will be happy to know it is now just like it used to be, gigantic servings and delicious good. The waitresses were new and very friendly. I'll be going there regularly again.
If I don't get satisfaction from a restaurant I simply stop going... but you never know when new management or something will return so I always give it one more try at a later date.
bad smell bad service.
I have gone to this restaurant many times and each time has gone downhill. This restaurant has a bad smell all the time. I went there on Monday April 27 for lunch. I am a wheelchair user and I was with my fiance. We went to the hostess desk and she stood there staring at us for 2 minutes. The hostess seated us way in the back, even though there were only 2 other customers in the restaurant. I feel dumber as a result of going to this restaurant, we informed the waitress we were going dutch, she looked at us as if we were speaking a different language, we then had to tell her we needed to split the bill. Her answer was "I didn't know if you guys wanted separate checks or not", this was after a lengthy pause. The atmosphere made us feel as though we were approaching death. The cook staff were not wearing gloves. When he announced our order was up, our waitress looked at it, then proceeded to sit down with other employees and have her lunch. I will never go back to this place.
Good Food Reasonably Priced.
Very good home cooked dinners at a reasonable price. Very good open chicken souvlaki, good breakfasts, wonderful dinner specials, large portions. A lot of regular customers. Owner is often there, and stops by and chats with a lot of the regulars. We've been probably 3 dozen times, and he's never said boo to us. (And I don't think we're that bad looking.) Also, we never seem to get our dinner rolls so I don't know how they are but we see them on lots of other tables. We tip well anyway. Usually very busy, especially at peak - dinner/lunch.
