overpriced dog food. service was good however I should have known what I was getting into when I asked about the beer on tap...none..then asked what bottled beer they had and was told Bud,Bud light, Coors etc.

settled on a Redwood (pinot noir) not horrible but not a lot to choose from. App. was a clams casino for $9.95. Received 6 very small clams casino. the good news was they were little necks with the whole clam under the casino mixture, very good but this is western ny so I expect better for $9.95. Had the gourmet gobbler which was toast points with deli turkey meat with tomatoes, bleu cheese and a rarebit sauce. that and the mashed potatoes made me drink two gallons of water afterwards just to get to sleep. total bill 3 glasses of wine with tip...$48.00. the place reminded me of a morgue that served food. every thing seemed to be prepared by shoving some food on a plate and putting it under the salamader for a few minutes.

Good steak, but don't expect the customer service to equal the high price. My fiancee took me to Adam's Rib for Valentine's Day. It is a real cozy (small) environment and the smell was great walking in. Unfortunately everything changed after hanging up our coats. We had to walk up and down the length of the restaurant looking for a hostesss, before we finally asked the bartender who pointed her out. Upon check in, they did not any record of a reservation made over a week prior. The lady's attitude made us feel that we were really putting her out. It didn't get better from there. She pointed us over to the bar where we waited for an hour, watching couple after couple come in to be seated. We got the feeling that unless you are a "regular" here, expect 2nd class service. We were finally seated at a table by the kitchen door. We asked for the prime rib (after all, the restaurant is called Adam's Rib!). Our server apologized and said the hostess was supposed to tell us they ran out of prime rib. HUH??? We ordered the NY Strip and filet mignon. In fairness, they were decent sized and tasty, although at this point in the evening most things would taste good. The bottom line: Considering the pricier menu and less than average customer service, I'd find another place for a good steak.

Great Place for couples. My husband and I have been going to Adams Rib for about 5 yrs. It has older decor and older patrons but we love it. The service is great, the food is my favorite in Buffalo actually. Even though we are always the youngest people, we are treated well and the servers remember us each time we come in. I recommend the prime rib and the stuffed mushrooms, my husband always gets the filet. I would definitely recommend this place for a special occasion

Great Steak. The food at Adam's Rib is the best!! It can be a little pricey but it's worth every penny. The Filet is my favorite dish. It melts in your mouth. I would recommend this restaurant to any one. Try is once and you'll keep going back.

BBQ???. I don't know about BBQ. They've got ribs on the menu, but its not what the place is about; its a steak house.

Items of note: Clams casino; excellent stuffed 'shrooms; good mashed potatoes (hot!). The steak was okay, so was the bread. Not inexpensive (small cut of prime rib: > $15.00).
