Gone down hill.
I used to think Como was good, but it has really gone down hill. The past few times I have been there, the service was poor. The food is decent, and very inexpensive.

Ho Hum.
Like i said...big portions, and I hope you have a dog for the leftovers...because you won't want to eat them. I was very dissappointed when I was in NF on business and a friend (who was from there) told me to visit this great city landmark. I guess I missed something but the food was just...well...about as good as Olive Garden (yuk). My guess it was freshly made but sort of bland for Italian food. If i'm there again, I might give it a try if I bring my german shepard. Maybe the chef had a hangover.

Just So-So.
The restaurant has really declined over the last few years they used to have pretty good food and a good atmosphere but I have been disappointed the few times I have gone. Lately the service has been very lax and takes a while to get anything you want even when there are not many other tables. The food does not taste very good anymore but and it seems like they are buying more of their porducts premade. I do not recommend the resaurant.

solid dining experiece.
I have been going to the Como for years. Their friendliness, attention to detail, and excellent food and service is guaranteed. Never had a bad meal. Prices are excellent and portions are huge. TRY the calamari and antipasto.

A "TRUE" dining experience.
I had the most wonderful dining experience ever. Not only were we greeted at the door by the owner, but during our dinner we were pampered by the waitress and Mr Como himself. This restaraunt was a favotite to the likes of Frank Sinatra, Liberace, Joe Torre and many others when they were in town. I had the Veal Scallopine, with fetticine and it was outstanding. All the other dishes that were served got rave reviews from my family members. After we ate Mr Como gave us a personal tour of his kitchen and other dining areas. I felt like a movie star. He's the nicest man and his friendly demeanor and warmth added a personal touch. Highly recommend this place. Make reservations. We didn't have any but he found us a table in the bar area. Highest Rating!!!!

Besides the fact thatI've been seeing this restaurant all my life. The food is good and there are weddings there and after funerals there. We toasted my grandfather there and I won't forget that.
When I visit home I take people to the Como, and I buy take out to carry back home.
