Authentic best ever veal!!!. I have tried MANY different places, but continue to come back for the veal parmagiana here at Fortuna's. It is simply the best. The veal is tender and pounded out very thin to enhance the two slices you get. I like their house salad dressing also as it is reminds me of homemade vinaigrette made with olive oil. This is authentic Italian true to its form here in Niagara Falls. I have been able to come at any time without reservations needed, which has come quite in handy, as well as the economical aspect of here versus many others. Go try it!

Poor service. Upon making the reservation for a Friday night, I explained this was my first visit and taking my boyfriend out for dinner for his birthday, and Italian food is his favorite. We were seated immediately and that was where the service stopped. It was very busy, but our waitress did not show up at our table to even get us drinks until I went to the hostess after waiting 15 minutes. Also during this time there was large white napkin in the middle of the floor that several employees walked by several times without picking it up. When I waitress did finally come to the table she was clearly annoyed and I felt bad for even placing the order. I ordered chicken picatta and he ordered rigatoni. The meals were large portions but nothing spectacular. The salad was just iceburg lettuce and tomatoes swimming in dressing but a la carte, another disappointment. We will not be going back.

Simply The Best Italian Food, Location, Background Music,. Alllllllll Italian !!! Slightly out of the way but adds to the ambiance in heart of Niaga Falls'

The Best for over 30 years!. I cannot believe Fortuna's has not received a much higher rating! We have been going for over 30 years and it is the best Italian restaurant in Niagara Falls. Starting with the salad-- as the other review said the best house dressing ever. The bread is from an Ontario bakery famous throughout the Niagara region. The soups, appetizers (try the beans & greens) are outstanding. And of course the sauce and pastas are simply delicious. My personal favorites are the lasagna, raviola, and veal cacciatore-- but I've never heard anyone complain in all the visits over the years. We don't live in the Falls but have always gone out of our way to go whenever that urge hits us! Great service and very pleasant atmosphere. Now this has gotten me hungry............

Our favorite. My wife and I have picked Fortuna's as our favorite Italian restaurant. The house Dressing is the best you will find. The portions are generous and tasty. Service is quick and freindly. Great place.
