For menHair loss affects over 50 million american men, causing an unattractive physical appearance and often affecting self-confidence as well. Most men with hair loss are affected by male pattern baldness, which affects the front portion of the scalp and can progress over time. Other men may experience hair loss caused by an underlying medical condition or as a side effect of certain medications.
For womenWhile hair loss is more commonly associated with men, as many as 20 million women are also victims of hair loss as a result of aging, heredity and hormonal changes. Most cases of female hair loss are caused by androgenic alopecia, also known as female pattern baldness. These women may experience thinning behind the hairline that progresses over time.
ProcedureHair transplant surgery involves removing thin strips of skin containing hair follicles from the back of scalp and replacing them in tiny holes in the bald or thinned area. Holes are carefully created through the use of a laser to create a natural appearance for each patient's individual needs. The grafted hair falls out after the procedure but then grows back and should last as long as the hair from the area in which is was taken.
Mini-graftingAlthough the fine nature of micro-grafts is quite natural-looking, they are also less voluminous. With less than five hairs per graft, it would take many hours to transplant a full head of hair, risking safety of the excised donor tissue and recently transplanted tissue. For this, dr. Neiman cuts mini-grafts of about five to twelve hairs each that can be used for the bulk of the balding skin, but behind the micro-grafts. This way, the fullness of the scalp is attained without sacrificing the meticulous work done with the hairline

Tattoo removalMany people have second thoughts about their tattoos. Fortunately, you don't have to live with your decision forever. Highly precise lasers can lighten or remove your tattoo by focusing or pulsing light on the ink particles, which then convert the energy to heat and break up into tiny pieces that are absorbed harmlessly by the body. All of this can be accomplished without damaging the surrounding tissue for aesthetically-pleasing results with little to no scarring.
