I live out of town but as a native of the Tonawanda's Ole Man River is a must stop for the about yearly trip. The food is great, the upstairs deck has a great view of the Niagara River so the ambiance, food and value are great. It is seldom I can ever find a table that is clean upstairs however and putting my arms and trays down on a sticky table is very un appetizing
- Pros: food, value, variety
- Cons: dirty tables

Old Man River is famous for their one-of-a-kind sweet potato french fries. They can be eaten with ketchup, honey, or butter. I personally recommend trying both the butter and honey... they're delicious. If you ever travel to Buffalo New York, this is place you must try!!

I have been going to this place since I was little. Mom would pack my brother and I in the car for a summer day by the Niagra River. The french fries are amazing covered in vinegar and salt. And no trip to Old Man River would be complte with out a cheeseburger, fries and a cold logan berry...only in NY!!!
Have to say...that is one of my favorite hambirger stands!!!

You just can't beat Ole Man river for outdoor dining. Just across the street from the Niagara River and Niawanda park. It's even got a bike path right to it's door from the park! Great food, burgers, chicken, clams, corn, ice cream, (and don't forget an order of sweet potato fries! ;-). Your food is made to order, so you do have to wait for it to cook, but you can't beat the breeze off the river and the view, so waiting is actually a pleasure...
- Pros: Food, Choices, View
- Cons: Sometimes service

Wonderful sweet potato fries, good basic grill menu. The setting can't be beat. It's right across the street from the river and a great bike/walking path.
