Beth is best
by deverest at Citysearch
Whenever we need a little extra pick-me-up at work, Pearl St is the place to head. Unless our group is too large (which sometimes it is) we like to sit at the bar & chat it up w/ Beth (the bartender). She friendly, attentive and witty; also she's always "right on" as to which specials are especially good (not that there's ever been a bad lunch brought to us). When the menu choices are overwhelming, the good ol' burger is always a decent choice; but don't consider it "settling".
- Pros: friendly staff, on-site brews, good food
- Cons: parking (Downtown), remote (at night)
Great Beer
by bethanyr at Citysearch
The atmosphere is fun and the place is huge. Great for crowds and to go to unwind with some great tasting beer. The service is sometimes good sometimes not so good but the food always leaves something to be desired. Our bruschetta bread was stale and cold for one visit, but the sandwiches are pretty good. Buffet is pretty good to do before the Sabres games but the drinks are a bit expensive.
Great Atmosphere and Beer!

This place was great, we came up to Buffalo for the Wing Festival, so naturally we tried the wings. Although the hot sauce is Franks Red Hot, the wings were out of this world they were crispy and hot. We ended up returning to the Pearl Street Grill two more times during our visit. The brewery had some of the best beers! This was also the only place to get food and drinks on a Sunday night, Buffalo shuts down around 8 on Sundays! This place always has a different crowd whether it's people watching football, an after-work crowd or tourists like us. I would definitely come here again. The staff was friendly and helpful.
- Pros: The staff, beer and wings!
Whether you're a sports fan or a family man, grab a bite and a drink in this historic building.

In Short
Pearl Street has a massive, high-ceilinged barroom that pulls in sports fans from the nearby ballpark as well as the after-work crowd. Pearl Street's menu incorporates the sudsy stuff into dishes like golden, beer-battered fish and chips. The beer-braised pot roast slices are served with gravy and a heap of buttery smashed potatoes. The Brewer's Burger is a hefty half-pound of juicy beef--if you're not counting calories, top it off with crispy bacon and cheese.
You'll crave the wings
by Rugby23 at Citysearch
Trust me - when you leave Buff, you'll be wanting these wings and their huge draft beer to go with it. The historical building, the flair on the walls from decades past, and the ambiance make this place a trip all in its own. Definitly try it, and if you're not weak at heart or on a pace maker try the suicide hot wings - they're out of this world!
- Pros: Friendly, Personable, Fun
Great new find!

Pricey! But food and service were excellent. My friends and I weren't sure what to expect. But it was a fabulous dinner, and excellent service. We'd definitely go back.
- Pros: good parking, friendly atmosphere
