Not What They Used To Be by Rachael M. at InsiderPages

My husband and I had been taking our children to Moon Buffet for as long as I can remember. We stopped in one night, just the two of us, and were SHOCKED at the lessened quality of the buffet foods.
Now, this is a buffet, so quality of wait staff shouldn't matter, but really, it does. We ended up clearing our own plates after one trip to the buffet. No one ever came over to refill our tea or water, and hubby began to feel unwell.
I ended up taking him to the ER that night and he had food poisioning.
We haven't been back since, and that was 6 months ago.
There are plenty of Chinese Buffets in the WNY area, so avoid this one.
PROS: Can't think of any
CONS: Lessened quality of food, disorder, completely unsatisfactory service
Cheap service ever!
by ksnvsis at Citysearch
It's true that the price is cheaper than other seafood buffet, but you will get what you pay for.
(NO, Literally you wouldn't even get what you paid for...)
On the weekend, they charge more for the crablegs and seafood, but they just don't bring them out. Even though the crablegs are gone from the tray in a second, they don't fill it up again. Last time I visited there, I had to wait for an hour to grab a small piece of it. Then, why on earth they charge more on the weekend if they don't serve the food they advertise?
Also, the service is late, and the dishes are dirty, and the worst part is nobody (including menager) seems care about it.
- Pros: None
- Cons: Bad service, Dirty dishes and utensils, not serving food promptly
Worst Buffet Ever
by Stella123456 at Citysearch
If you are looking for a place to eat don't bother looking here. This buffet is the worst place in town, and the place is dirty. The service is horrible, I had to wait three hours for crablegs, and i didn't even get my soda until i was done with my meal.
- Cons: Horrible Service, Dirty plates.
Best Chinese Buffet in Town~!!!

Hey, If you're looking for a Great Chinese Buffet, Look no further~Frank & Sherrie eat there all the time and Really Enjoy it. There's a wide range of dishes, the prices are affordable and there is always a fresh full tray of Crab legs!~We cant get enough of this place. Neither of us like people and we dont care for crowds, but we tolerate it long enough to go visit our favorite place NEW FUJI CHINESE BUFFET~
New Fuji used to be MOON Buffet which was a very traditional chinese restaurant. Now, they have remodeled with a more modern look and they now have booths and walls for privacy. It's a Big place and the steam trays are always kept full...Like I said, we eat there alot and we enjoy it. I normally have no interest in writing reviews and such, but I felt NEW FUJI really needed one. There food is delicious!
Just make sure you dont sit in a corner booth when you go...THAT'S OUR SPOT~!!!! :)
Best, Frank & Sherrie
- Pros: Service is quick and the Food is GREAT~Booths provide privacy which is nice.
- Cons: People bring little kids which ruin the atmosphere.
Good food generally, but inconsistent
by town_plagiarist at Citysearch
The food here's actually pretty good, especially when compared to some of the Chinese take-out/ buffets in Buffalo. But it seems to me the place is too inconsistent. The first few times I came here the quality was pretty good, but I have since found better places for buffet.
The problem I have is Moon doesn't seem to have very consistent quality. You could show up one day for General Tso's and it could be nice and another day it might be gooey and sickly sweet. The Emperor chicken is never good. They have this one dish that is exquisite, with chicken, eggplant & garlic sauce, but good luck finding it. It's been on the buffet only a few times I've been there.
- Pros: some very nice dishes
- Cons: inconsistent quality
